Professional Training & Consultation
I have extensive training in DBT and DBT-PE by treatment creator Marsha Linehan’s training group. I spent years working in a comprehensive DBT program and I bring real world examples into the classroom. I regularly teach DBT at the University of Chicago both in graduate level courses and the Contextual Behavioral Therapy Fellowship.
I follow the DBT premise that therapists should never ask clients to do something that they themselves are unwilling to do. To that end, my training is highly experiential and offers the opportunity to both learn and practice interventions. I’m able to adapt my offerings to fit the needs of each organization. Some of my recent speaking engagements include The University of Michigan and the Women’s Association for Addiction Treatment.
I also enjoy providing consultation to students, colleagues, and practices who are looking to grow their skill set! If you’re interested in learning more, please reach out.
