About Lindan
I'm passionate about effective treatments.
In addition to providing therapy at Intention, I promote these treatments in the community. I’m on the faculty at the University of Chicago where I teach the newest forms of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT, ACT, PE) to graduate students.
I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 13 years. I have experience at every level of the care spectrum, from providing therapy at intensive treatment programs to serving as the Clinical Director of multiple outpatient clinics.
I received my clinical training from New York University. When I’m not working, I enjoy yoga, reading fiction, musicals, and trying new restaurants in Chicago!
Here at Intention, I work with adults who want to take an evidence-based approach to addressing:
Stress / Burnout
Life Transitions
Relationships
Shame / Self-Criticism
Impulsivity
Trauma
Depression
Anxiety
Substance Abuse
Grief
I offer both in-person and teletherapy appointments. Learn more about how we can work together by browsing my therapy services.
